For several years, I have maintained the fiction that I don't watch a lot of TV. I have made this claim in public, and no-one has ever questioned my veracity. Well, for someone who doesn't watch a lot of TV, I sure have a lot of shows to DVR when I go away. And I always turn the TV on in my bedroom first thing in the morning, and if I am by myself in a hotel room, I always have the TV on.
So this time of year, when most of the networks have wrapped up for the season (except for SciFi), I have to live the life of someone who really doesn't watch a lot of TV. It's hard to live the truth!
Maybe, I'll even finish the 3 books I've been reading off and on.

Hello Made,
I also maintain that I don't watch a lot of tv - #1 daughter is clearing her throat at this comment - there was a time when I didn't watch a lot of tv. In fact I only watched 1 hour a week - my beloved X-files....It used to be that better 1/2 and I would snuggle together on Fridays with pizza, Fox and Scully. But alas they moved it to Sundays and better 1/2 went to bed...or so he would have me believe.
Anyway these days...I discovered 24 in the library on DVD - hours and hours of Jack, guns and terrorists. But Jack is getting a little tiresome....he is over 40 after all and a grandfather.
Then of course there is Heroes which I watch during the commercials while 24 is on. #1 daughter says she loves heroes - and she really would too if she watched it. Which brings me to the point of my rather long comment - Heroes (which is a lot of fun) and Jericho and lots of others can be seen online...so cool. So in fact it is true - I don't watch a lot of TV. I watch a lot of computer.
Will write again soon

SAVE Jericho
ps. about the instruments - we put the dogs out when they start singing. In fact what usually happens is 1) an instrument starts up 2) they start howling 3) they run to nearest person not emititng musical sounds 4) sit if front of that person until they (the person) can't stand it anymore and then 5) they (the dogs) run for the door. They are well trained little doggies.
pps. Believe it or not Pooky's grandma's dog is also a long haired chihuahua.... how about that :-)
ppps. What kind of books do you like.
Hi ccpdppr,
So on my list of the "few" shows I watch are: House, Boston Legal, Lost, ER, Stargate SG1 (soon to be missed), Stargate Atlantis, Dr. Who (I saw the very first episode of the very first Doctor, when I was a very little girl!), Eureka, Desperate Housewives, and the Dresden Files.
I have seen a couple of episodes of Heroes, and thought it looked really good. I might try to get caught up on it online. I am hoping to one day break a leg and have to watch 24 from the beginning.
I was also a OBSESSED X-Files fan -- 90% of the obsession was lust for David Duchovny (almost as cute as Speed Racer!)
