Second Son's friend Kelly is sitting here watching me post on my blog and she just said that it is weird seeing an parent posting to a blog. I thought that was funny, so I starting writing this post, and she said, "are you writing that I said it was weird to see a parent blogging?"
and I said yes.
we both laughed.
What was really cool was that I had send the link to my blog to my family, and my brother e-mailed me and as a result he stopped by our house for dinner (which is not that easy as he lives in New England and I live elsewhere on the East Coast.) So blogging is good. And I am a cool parent who blogs.

thanks for the compliment, but I think Kello was referring to herself as both hot and cool! I think she is cool, and it is not for me to say if she is hot, though I suspect others might say she is!
And it's okay if she's full of herself, because she's really a very outstanding person.

So cool and so hot. I'm sure I have met you both. ...but perhaps this conversation is getting a little out of hand.
I am not a cool parent who writes a blog, but rather I am an annoying wife who roams the messsage boards....at least the Jericho message boards. My better half says I am obsessed...which is true. I am also a little nuts (see nutsonline.com/jericho), but I am having fun while trying to change the world of primetime tv ratings.
This morning I had a major break through when I got own my #1 son (my only one actually) to watch a couple of episodes. But better 1/2 won't go anywhere near it. He doesn't know what he is missing, but then maybe he is content with reality tv. Last night I got to talk to one of the Jericho actors on blog talk radio. Now that was cool!!! Especially for a parent.

I don't watch a lot of TV (well that's a lie, but I think it makes me sound intellectual), but I've never watched Jericho. First Son and his Girlfriend have, and they said it is/was very good. I told them about he nuts for Jericho campaign. Maybe SciFi will pick it up, the way they did Stargate, and Farscape?
(I ended up buying a lot of coffee for Speed Racer from the nuts site!)
By the way, I am obsessed with Lost. I believe these obsessions are far less harmful than other addictive behaviors!
